Terms of reservation and cancellation (booking conditions)
The following terms will be applied to Aurantola cottage reservations or their cancellations.
These terms will become binding to both parties as soon as the client makes the reservation for the cottage.
Reservation and payment
A Reservation can be placed by phone or e-mail. Reservations made by phone are binding at once.
Reservations made by e-mail are binding after the reservation has been confirmed. The cottage rent is paid on arrival.
Cancellations
If you must cancel your reservation, we hope you do it as soon as it is possible.
Two weeks before the start of the reservation at the latest. If the cancellation is made less than 14 days but more
than 48 hours before the start of the holiday, 50% of the rent will be charged. If the cancellation is caused by a
sudden illness, serious accident or death - either of the customer himself or of a person who lives in the same household as the customer,
there will be no cancellation fee. In such a case, the cancellation must be made without delay and the incident
must be verified in a suitable way (medical certificate, etc.). If the cancellation is made less than 48 hours before
the start of the holiday, the whole rent will be charged.
Use of cottage
The cottage is at the customer's disposal from 2 p.m. on the day of arrival, until 12 noon on the day of departure.
The customers themselves are responsible for cleaning the cottage during their stay and at the end of it. The final
cleaning means sweeping the floors, shaking the mats, washing the dishes and taking rubbish to the outside rubbish
bin so that the cottage is left in a good condition for the next visitors. If the cottage has not been properly cleaned
when the reservation ends, Aurantola has the right to charge the cleaning fee. It is also possible to book the final
cleaning in advance, price 50 euros.
The rent includes the cottage and equipment in the cottage, rowing boat, water, electricity and firewood.
Bed linen is not included in the rent. Bed linen (+towel) can be requested from the reception (5 euros / set).
Compensation for damage
The customer is under obligation to compensate Aurantola directly for any damage he has caused to the cottage
or the equipment with in it. If the customer looses the key Aurantola can charge the customer the costs for changing the locks.
Smoking and pets
Smoking is prohibited inside the cottage. In such case, extra cleaning costs will be added to the fee.
Pets are allowed in the cottages but they are not allowed on the sofas or the beds.
Aurantola will not compensate in case of allergic reactions to animals or smoke.
Possible complaints
Aurantola must be informed as soon as a problem arises and during the rental period of any
comments or complaints concerning the equipment or the condition of the cottage.
