ACTIVITIES
Here are some activities You can do in the beautiful surroundings of Aurantola.
Sauna by the lake
Near the manor we have a sauna by the lake. The sauna is heated on request. The sauna has room for about ten people.
Lean-to
On the island we have two lean-tos, which have a place for a campfire.
Fishing
Fishing licenses are sold at the main building in case it is required.
Wild golf
We have a cross-country golf course situated in a silver birch wood with six holes. Golf clubs and balls are for hire at the main building.
Canoeing
We have two canoes for hire at the main building.
Nature and wildlife
Aurantola´s surroundings are great for nature walks and getting to know the animals of Finland. There are also good forests for berry and toadstool picking.
In the winter
When the ice is thick enough we make a cross-country skiing track around the island. For longer trips You can rent a snowbike. Also You can go ice-fishing or even dip into the icecold lake after sauna.
Games
There is a volleyball net on the beach. You can borrow the ball and other games from the main building.
For children
There are sheep, rabbits and horses in the yard.
